Lin Nan sat as if on pins and needles, barely managing to finish his breakfast.
He glanced at the young woman clinging tightly to his arm, feeling his hair stand on end and his muscles tense.
It was just past seven, and some students and teachers had already appeared in the cafeteria. Lin Nan felt slightly more at ease - at least with people around, Lina probably wouldn't suddenly attack him, right?
"I need to go prepare for class..." Lin Nan tried to gauge the young woman's intentions - he certainly couldn't trust someone who had previously threatened him with a fruit knife.
"First period this morning is a large lecture class. We're in it together," Lina explained with a sweet smile.
Lin Nan froze for a moment, then came up with another excuse: "I need to go get my books."
"No problem, just message your roommate to bring them."
This girl...
He felt helpless and didn't dare anger Lina.
She was a holy maiden from another world - in Lilith's memories, this young woman had the power to destroy an entire city by herself. Though her abilities must have decreased significantly on Earth, she could still easily beat him up.
Yesterday he had planned to sort through all of Lilith's memories about Lina, but his stomach had hurt all day and he hadn't had the energy to recall those distant memories. Now he'd run into Lina again and was completely at a loss.
He didn't dare directly ask if Lina and Lilith had been in a lesbian relationship, and could only sit restlessly waiting for class to start.

He was just sighing inwardly when Lina suddenly asked, "When do you plan to return? I'm ready anytime."
"I'm not planning to return."

"You never used to be like this." Seeing how uncomfortable he was with the stares, Lina hugged him even tighter, squeezing his arm painfully, and rested her head on his shoulder with a grin.
Lin Nan felt his scalp tingle, as if he'd been wrapped up by a poisonous snake. He sat there not daring to move at all.
From an outsider's perspective, they probably looked like an affectionate college couple. From behind, they might even look like two girls in a lesbian relationship. But only Lin Nan knew the bitter anxiety he felt inside.
Time passed excruciatingly slowly for him as he sat there stiffly, having to endure both the strange looks from passersby and the constant fear of being killed.
After what felt like forever, Lina finally pulled Lin Nan up to go to class.
Arriving at the classroom, they found random seats to sit in. Lin Nan was extremely restless, occasionally looking up at his classmates only to find that he had indeed become the subject of everyone's attention and gossip.
This made him even more uncomfortable, giving him the feeling of being stripped naked, his face flushing unnaturally.
Just then, someone suddenly clapped him on the shoulder, and a familiar voice rang out: "Nan Nan? No wonder we couldn't find you when we woke up - you were out on a date?"
He looked back to find his three roommates behind him.
"Isn't this that stal- that pretty girl from two days ago?" Tu Junhui quickly caught himself.
Chen Yao was completely stunned, having no idea Lin Nan could hook up with a girl so quickly. Even Xiong Da showed a rare look of surprise, clearly not expecting Lin Nan to be the first one to get into a relationship.
Seeing their expressions, Lin Nan naturally understood what they were misunderstanding. He turned to look at Lina, only to see that the girl seemed quite displeased at being interrupted.
"Um, my roommates are looking for me..." Lin Nan tentatively probed.
Tu Junhui comfortably sat down next to Lin Nan: "No problem, we'll just sit nearby. There's just enough space."

Lin Nan was suffering silently. Though Lina hadn't done anything extreme, just having her sit next to him for a minute made his life feel like torture.
"Nana, come sit with us!"
Suddenly, a voice like an angel's blessing rang out. Lina turned to look and saw it was her roommates.
"I'll go over there for a bit," she said to Lin Nan with a smile.
"Sure, sure."
Lin Nan forced a smile, and as soon as Lina left, he quickly grabbed a passing classmate and pushed them into the chair. That classmate hadn't even recovered from the surprise when they looked at Lin Nan in confusion: "What are you doing?"
It was then that Lin Nan realized he'd grabbed a not-so-friendly classmate from the neighboring dorm.
