Chapter 47

Chapter 47: The Might of a Bronze-Rank Student

“Huh?”

Erika stared blankly at her. She hadn’t wanted to deal with Andy in the first place, but who would’ve thought Isana would actively provoke him.

Seeing Erika not move, Andy sneered mockingly, “See that? She doesn’t dare. Hahaha, having someone impersonate a noble—Isana, you must think everyone is as brainless as you are?”

“Hurry up!”

Isana grew a bit anxious, glaring fiercely at Erika with her large eyes.

“If you don’t listen, you’ll have to pay for all the food you just ate!”

What the…

Erika was speechless. How was this a threat now? She wasn’t even scared of Andy! And now she was being forced to call Isana “big sister”—how hateful!

Curling her lips in displeasure, broke-as-ever Erika reluctantly got up and moved next to Isana, gently wrapping her small hands around her arm and calling out unwillingly,

“Big sister…”

“Hmm?” Andy squinted.

Isana frowned, clearly dissatisfied, and scolded Erika, “I let you eat so much, and this is what I get? Say it louder.”

“Yes, big sister!”

To hell with it—Erika raised her voice.

That soft, sweet tone made heads tingle, and even Isana’s heart skipped a beat.

Now she was satisfied.

Being the youngest in the Elfreid Family, even the younger servants addressed her with honorifics and never called her “sister.” This was the first time someone had ever called her that.

“Did you hear that?”

Crossing her arms, Isana wore a smug expression. “If you dare bully my little sister again, don’t blame me for being rude.”

With Isana satisfied, Erika’s task was done. She promptly went back to eating.

“Heh…”

Andy chuckled without any expression.

He wasn’t an idiot—he could clearly see this was all an act. Besides, he knew that Isana Elfreid was the youngest in her family. What “distant relative”?

“Miss Erika, you actually said it. Do you know impersonating a noble is enough to get you thrown in jail?”

Before Erika could respond, Isana interjected, “Who’s impersonating? You’re not even part of the Elfreid Family—what do you know?”

Andy had no interest in arguing further. From what he knew, Isana was a troublemaker—always dragging other little girls around.

“I’ve been to the southern county myself. Cut the act. Today I came for Erika. You’ve got nothing to do with this, Isana—move.”

“You dare!”

Isana clenched her small fists. Magic suddenly burst from her body. “If you touch her, I’ll teach you a lesson on behalf of the Clappen Family.”

Clearly, there was old beef between them. Another argument sparked.

This time, Isana acted first. Her pale arm suddenly swung forward, aiming a punch at Andy at incredible speed.

But Andy wasn’t unprepared. As a Gold-ranked student, he tilted his head slightly and easily dodged her strike.

He grabbed her wrist mid-motion with ease and sneered, “Annoying as always, little princess of the Elfreid Family. Still as detestable as ever.”

“You’re the most detestable one here!”

Isana struggled to break free, but Andy’s grip was stronger. She couldn’t escape.

“Let go of me, you disgusting pervert! When you came to the southern county, I should’ve had my father cut your junk off!”

“Hah, the Duke of Daylight isn’t as vulgar as you. As his daughter, maybe you should learn some manners.”

Still holding back, Andy signaled to his lackeys with his eyes. They understood at once.

The next second, a special rope used by Aarlan Empire invigilators was wrapped around Isana.

“Bind her up.”

“On it!”

His lackeys obeyed without question. They didn’t care who Isana was—if Andy said to do it, they did it.

At Wode Academy, plenty of students weren’t here to learn. They were just here to cozy up to nobility and pave the way for future success.

“Let go of me! You bastards!”

Most of the lackeys were Mithril-ranked, with a few Golds among them. They held Isana down without letting her break free.

“Gag her. Don’t let her alert any teachers.” Andy added.

“Sure thing.”

They responded and pulled out a roll of tape like it was premeditated.

Though Isana was the daughter of the Duke of Daylight, they didn’t dare be too rough. One of them even apologized, “Sorry, Miss Isana. No offense—we just want some peace.”

“Let me go or I’ll… mmph!”

Before she could finish, her voice was muffled.

All this, Erika watched silently.

So even Isana had days like this.

Getting tied up with that rope didn’t feel good, did it? Ha!

But these nobles were seriously weird. Why did they all like tying people up?

With the area quieting down, Andy smiled as he turned to Erika.

“Well then, Miss Erika, now it’s just the two of us. Are you going to behave and obey, or do I have to use force?

Haha, I do have a soft spot for beauty, so I’d prefer you play nice.”

“Noble young masters really are disgusting.”

Not giving him the slightest face.

Erika knew Andy wouldn’t hurt Isana. He was targeting her. But just seeing his sleazy face made her deeply disgusted.

“If you don’t want to get beaten, let Isana go. She hasn’t even paid for my food yet.”

“Oh? I’d be happy to pay for you.”

Andy grinned wider. He looked playfully at Erika’s oil-stained lips and said, “But if I’m paying, you’ll have to behave.

Besides, this is Wode Academy. If you think you can take me on, I wouldn’t mind.

But you’re just a little Bronze-ranked girl. Best recognize your place.”

Then he smirked nastily. “I haven’t even settled yesterday’s humiliation with you.

Just come over to my house for a visit, and I’ll let Isana go. We’ll call it even.

My place is at 300 Bradley Street—a luxury suite guaranteed to please.”

“Keep dreaming. Who’d go to your house?”

“Then I guess I’ll have to get physical.”

Andy’s grin widened. “Skipping class this afternoon shouldn’t be a problem. Let me personally escort you.”

His gaze drifted to Erika’s lovely face, filled with possessiveness.

His eyes scanned her body, finally resting on the smooth skin of her thighs—drooling at the sight.

Too beautiful. In fact, even more captivating than Isana.

He couldn’t offend the Duke of Daylight’s daughter, but Erika? She was his to claim.

Reaching out slowly, he could barely contain himself.

Fwoosh!

Just as his hand reached out, a force like a hellish red lotus burst from Erika’s body, erupting like a flood.

The power of the Dragon Core Crystal—comparable to Saint-rank!

Though she couldn’t fully wield it yet, dealing with trash like Andy was a piece of cake.

Erika wasn’t skilled in magic control or technique, but when it came to sheer energy, no one could compare.

“W-What is this…?”

Feeling the wave of pressure, Andy’s expression faltered.

Such an overwhelming presence—only Wode Academy’s strongest teachers had ever made him feel this way.

What was going on!?

This pressure… was coming from Erika?

Andy was stunned. He thought he was hallucinating. Erika was just a Bronze-ranked student. How could she have such terrifying power?

His hand froze midair—paralyzed by fear.

As if moving it another millimeter would mean getting his arm destroyed by Erika…
