Chapter 46

Chapter 46: Hug Me and Call Me Sister

“Little sister, what do you want to eat?”

The academy cafeteria’s cook was a plump auntie. Despite her large size, her face carried a kind smile. She had a good reputation in the academy and got along well with many students.

Seeing two little beauties—Erika and Isana—arrive, the auntie greeted them warmly.

“Hold on, let me see.”

Erika pulled out the pocket money Gladys had given her today—just ten silver coins.

The food here wasn’t free. It was like a tavern; the menu was posted, and students had to pay.

Scanning the menu with her red eyes, Erika was surprised to see how expensive everything was.

Even a simple bread and milk combo cost five silver coins. The meat dishes were all over ten silver coins.

What a rip-off!

Was the academy just here to fleece students?

“Decided yet? What’ll it be?” the cook asked again.

“I’ll…”

After a moment of hesitation, Erika pointed to a meat combo on the menu. “I’ll take this combo, but I only want the meat—no fruit or juice. Will ten silver coins cover it?”

“Of course not.”

The auntie chuckled and explained, “We only sell full combos. That’s the rule.”

“Rules are made by people… can’t you bend them a bit?”

“No.”

“…Then forget it!”

Seeing the cook firmly refuse, Erika turned to leave and buy meat buns instead. With food this expensive, she wasn’t about to waste money.

“Hey, don’t go, Erika.”

Isana grabbed her arm. “Didn’t you just say you were hungry?”

“I’ll buy something outside.”

“You’re broke, right?”

Clearly seeing through her, Isana chuckled. “No worries. If you agree to model for me, I’ll treat you to whatever you want.”

“What do you take me for?”

Erika glared at her. “I’m not the type to sell my body for food.”

“Going out to buy food would waste time. We have class later.”

“I still won’t agree to your terms that easily. I’m not that kind of person.”

“These combos are really tasty, you know.”

“I said, I’m not—”

“What do you want to eat?”

“I already said—”

“No problem. Order whatever you want!”

“Okay!”

The moment Isana said “order whatever you want,” Erika couldn’t resist anymore. She licked her lips, quickly pointing at the menu.

“Auntie, this green cabbage… and this radish… and…”

“Alright, anything else?” the cook asked as she noted them down.

Erika’s big sparkling red eyes darted across the menu, her small hands directing quickly.

“Everything except these—just skip these. Bring me the rest.”

“???”

The cook was startled by how much Erika ordered. “You’re ordering a lot… Do you have friends joining you? Even though you’re paying, the academy discourages waste.”

“I can finish it. I won’t waste a bite.”

Her cheeks carried a sweet smile—ordering food was the happiest moment for Erika.

“Erika, you only ordered meat—no other sides?” Isana wasn’t short on money, but she still reminded her.

“You really think you can finish all that?”

“I can! We can share. Hehe.”

“I’ll pass.”

Isana was speechless. “You ordered so much greasy food. Just looking at it makes me queasy.”

At the cafeteria table, Erika began devouring a large chicken leg with her small hands.

One bite… two bites…

She ate like a bottomless pit, treating the meat like her main staple. Her lips glistened with oil, her face glowing with happiness.

“She eats so much…”

Watching the girl in front of her, Isana was dumbfounded.

“Whaff you shaying?” Erika asked with her mouth full.

“I said, how can you eat so much?”

Unable to resist complaining, Isana’s expression darkened. “Eating that much will make you fat. Do you always eat like this, Erika?”

“This… is this that much?”

“….”

Impressive…

Isana didn’t press further. Now, looking at Erika, even her eyes showed a trace of envy.

This was the dream body of all girls—a metabolism that never gained weight no matter how much you ate… though, she was a dragon…

However, while they were eating, a group of boys unknowingly gathered around.

Erika didn’t recognize them, but she had seen the leader before—it was Andy Clappen, the one who harassed her yesterday.

He wore a gold badge just like Isana.

“Hey cutie, you’re Erika, right?”

He signaled for his lackeys to surround the two girls, grinning coldly. “I was so polite to you yesterday, and you still disrespected me. You’re not getting away today.”

Staring at him with big eyes, Erika didn’t respond. She was busy enjoying her chicken leg and had no time to spare him a word.

“Hey, didn’t you hear me?”

Seeing her ignore him, Andy barked.

Before Erika could answer, Isana coldly stepped in, “Andy, what are you yelling for? This is the cafeteria. Have some manners.”

“Oh~ So it’s Miss Isana Elfreid of the Elfreid Family.”

Feigning surprise, Andy glanced at her. “This has nothing to do with you. Could you please stay out of it?”

“Huh?”

Frowning, Isana slammed the table.

“You should be the one backing off. Surrounding us like this—what do you want? This is Wode Academy. Don’t bring your royal brat antics here!”

So he really was a noble.

While savoring her food, Erika glanced at Andy. She didn’t care about him—just thought,

Fight! Fight!

If Andy fought with Isana, the little princess, that would be fun to watch!

Andy smiled dismissively. “Yeah, I know.

That’s why I’m speaking with strength. This bronze-badge girl humiliated me in front of everyone yesterday. Today, I’m here to restore my pride.

As for you, Isana, this isn’t your concern. Please leave.”

“I know what you did yesterday. You harassed Erika first. You made a fool of yourself—it was your own fault!

If you dare touch Erika, I’ll beat you up!” Isana snapped.

As another noble, she knew what kind of person Andy was. Now that he was picking a fight, she wouldn’t back down.

“Think carefully, Miss Isana.”

Andy sneered, “I don’t know your relationship with Erika, but considering you’re the Duke of Daylight’s daughter, I’ll warn you—don’t get involved.”

“She’s my sister!”

“Your sister?”

Clearly not convinced, Andy laughed. “I know the Elfreid family—you only have one older sister. Where did this ‘sister’ come from?”

“A distant relative!”

“Distant relative, huh? Do you know impersonating nobility is against imperial law? If you’re telling the truth, have her call you ‘sister’ herself.”

At that, Isana didn’t even care. She turned to the chicken-leg-eating Erika and waved her arm.

“Erika!”

“Whaddaya want?”

“Come hug me and call me sister!”
