[Guide] A Farming Method to Earn 50K Gold per Run with Parasite Spiders Going Viral Overseas

(Highlights)

This is a farming method discovered by a VTuber, where you can earn 50K gold in one go.

Preparation Materials:

1. Starting with the Holy Church affiliation is recommended (not mandatory).

2. The "Witch's Nest" dungeon must be unlocked (it’s the first dungeon for Holy Church players, while other affiliations unlock it later).

3. Minimum of 2 party members required.

4. The more summoning stones, the better.

The method is absurdly simple:

One person gets parasitized by the parasite spider, and the remaining party members capture the parasitized teammate.

Once parasitized by the spider, you won't die unless burned with fire.

In the highlighted video, the VTuber used a blunt weapon to mercilessly smash bones and subdue the victim.

Capture and sell them, and you’ll earn 50K gold per transaction.

Do it before it gets nerfed. gogogogogogogo!

[Comments]

- Holy shit, this is crazy hard. LOL

- Is it really worth going this far?

- They're playing a completely different game by themselves.

- How do you beat that one-on-one, seriously LOL

ㄴ Might be doable if you gather enough teammates.

- Are we even playing the same game?

- Dude, I told them to play Labyrinthos, but they're pulling Labyrinthos Prank LOL

ㄴ This VTuber has been famous for Labyrinthos Pranks since the beginning.

Friendship is friendship, but business is business.

My dear friend Mero seemed to understand this well, as she faithfully followed the orders of her friend—me.

"Aaaaaah! Let me go! No! I don’t want to stop being human!"

"My, Mero. Your hair is surprisingly silky. May I ask what hair care products you use?"

"Hair products on a VR avatar…! Kyaaaah?! Don’t drag me by the hair! At least grab me by the neck—no, wait, no! Aaaaaaagh!!"

When I gently released the hand that had been "stroking" Mero’s hair, she lunged toward the parasite spider. It wasn’t as if I threw her or anything.

Thus, Mero became parasitized by the parasite spider.

I subdued Mero, then summoned Rui with a summoning stone.

Rui converted the parasitized Mero into money and summoned Mero back again.

Mero willingly went through the parasitization process repeatedly.

The tears-inducing sacrifice of Mero.

With each sacrifice, Leviathan grew wealthier, and Mero’s noble spirit of sacrifice became something akin to a saintly virtue.

Now that I think about it, Mero and Messiah both share the "Me" in their names. Or maybe not? Whatever.

Ding!

How many Meros had been produced, and how many had been sold?

As Mero sales skyrocketed, a Discord notification popped up.

Hanabane Rui

[Could you cover the stream screen for a moment?]

[I have something to say.]

“?”

The message came from none other than Rui.

I glanced at Rui out of curiosity.

Rui was right in front of me.

She had her usual calm expression, but I noticed a slight hesitation in her gaze. It seemed like she had something to say that wasn’t meant for the viewers.

"I’ll step away for a moment."

As per Rui’s request, I hid the stream screen. This way, viewers would think I was just taking a bathroom break.

"I did as you asked. So, what is it you want to say?"

Was she going to scold me for overworking Mero? Now that I think about it, Rui and Mero seemed to be quite close friends.

"Our current gold balance hit 500K."

Or so I thought, but I was wrong.

Rui, too, appeared to be a cold-blooded woman, unbothered by the sight of Mero being sold off. Or perhaps she was moved by Mero’s noble spirit of sacrifice.

Anyway, I checked our gold balance after hearing Rui’s words.

【Gold Balance: 511,221G】

"We’ve gone back and forth with the parasite spider about ten times, so this amount isn’t surprising."

"Do you know how much the other teams currently have?"

"Of course."

I nodded. There’s always someone in the community or on SNS who keeps track of such things.

Thanks to my good memory, I clearly remembered what I’d read in the forums.

Team Cerberus had exactly 92,021 gold.

Team Behemoth had 86,995 gold.

Team Gryphon had 31,214 gold, the lowest. It seemed that most of Gryphon’s members, except Son Narin, had been busy lately.

"When you add up the other teams' gold, our total is still much higher, isn’t it?"

"That’s right."

"It’s great that our team is winning, but being this overwhelmingly ahead… honestly, it’s not a good look."

Rui explained seriously.

This Dungeon Seeker broadcast was a promotional competition to see "who can earn the most money."

It was a deadly game of earning money to feast on high-end steaks.

Sometimes, in order to close the gold gap with opposing teams, players had to venture into more dangerous dungeons.

This was the kind of dynamic Rui found entertaining.

"So, I think the real fun lies in the back-and-forth. But if we pull too far ahead this early in the competition, just after the ad campaign has started..."

"You’re saying the tension will disappear."

"Yeah, exactly. If viewers can predict the outcome, I think the audience will gradually lose interest."

It was easy to understand Rui’s point by imagining a survival-style TV variety show. The appeal of survival programs lies in the curiosity over who will win.

Conversely, if the winner is obvious from the start, the show inevitably becomes boring.

So, it was only natural for viewership to drop if things went as Rui predicted.

And the Dungeon Seeker broadcast we were doing was an "advertisement" broadcast.

A drop in viewership meant a decrease in advertising effectiveness.

"For Deadraus, the sponsor of this broadcast, this situation wouldn’t be favorable."

"Probably not. I think they’ll contact us about this sooner or later. …Before that happens, let’s burn about 300K gold here."

That was Rui’s suggestion.

Spending 300K would leave us with around 200K gold.

Since the second-place team, Cerberus, only had about 90K gold, we’d still remain in the lead.

However, the gap between us and Cerberus would shrink from 400K to around 100K.

That might make Cerberus think, "It’s still possible to catch up." After all, the game was still in its early stages.

Who knows? In the later stages, there might be content that could overturn a 100K gold difference in one shot.

"Alright, let’s do it."

I was confident we’d win even without the 300K gold.

It wasn’t like we were throwing the gold into a ditch. Rui’s point was simply to avoid hoarding money unnecessarily and sparking any strange rumors.

So, Rui, Mero, and I distributed the 300K gold evenly and spent it all on the spot.

【Description: You are a member of the “White Crows” Platoon, composed of heretic hunters from the Holy Church. You primarily handle healing within the unit.】

【Owned Skills: <Resurrection> (5 uses per day), <Cooking> Lv.10, <Mental Therapy> (3 uses per day), <Carrying> Lv.10, <Inventory Expansion> Lv.10】

There are roughly three ways to spend gold in this game:

1. Reviving a dead character or creating a new one.

2. Purchasing items.

3. Acquiring or leveling up skills.

You could also spend gold to change your costume, but since it didn’t affect stats, I didn’t bother with it.

I used all my gold to level up my skills.

In this game, it’s generally recommended to invest in items rather than skills.

‘If you die, all your skills disappear.’

To be precise, skills in this game are tied to characters.

As I’ve mentioned before, Dungeon Seeker is a game where life is incredibly cheap.

Deaths are common occurrences in this game; Mero had already experienced dozens of them.

Still, there are some safety nets. If your teammate’s corpse can be brought to a church cathedral, they can be revived for a price.

But what if, for instance, a monster devours them whole?

Or if you can’t retrieve even a strand of hair? In that case, there would be no way to revive that character.

The only option then would be to create a new character.

Naturally, creating a new character wipes out all the skills you’ve learned up to that point.

That’s why investing money into skills wasn’t generally recommended. But, well, I figured it’d be fine.

If the character grew stronger, I might end up earning more than 300K gold.

As long as I didn’t die, it wouldn’t be an issue.
