Chapter 60

"Is your size really this big?"

"It's a bit big, larger than others' sizes."

"The shape is also a bit strange."

"Mm, bending like this is more comfortable."

"It can't vibrate too, can it?"

"No, I didn't pay for that feature."

Felyn spread the mattress on his bedroom floor and lay down on it.

Of course he couldn't sleep with Daiyi—that wasn't in the contract.

This mattress had ergonomic design and wasn't just flat. He'd paid good money for it.

Daiyi lay on Felyn's bed. The sheets were freshly changed—no erotic novel scenarios of Daiyi sniffing his blankets.

And she wouldn't do such things anyway.

His clients shouldn't have such perverted tendencies.

This young lady was acting strangely, insisting they first try sleeping in the same room, saying it would help her accept whatever she had to do next.

What did she have to do?

Felyn drew the curtains and turned off the lights.

He didn't want to think about these strange questions. If he deeply analyzed every client's thoughts, Felyn would already be mentally ill.

Curtains plunged the entire room into darkness.

In such settings, anything happening would be quite difficult—nobody could see anybody.

"Miss Daiyi, shouldn't we chat about something?"

Felyn forced his eyes open for ten minutes. Though still early, if Daiyi didn't speak, he'd fall asleep.

He didn't know Daiyi on the bed was staring wide-eyed at the ceiling.

Even if not in the same bed, she was still sleeping in a room with a man.

She gripped the blanket tightly, body becoming very stiff.

If Felyn suddenly went into a lustful frenzy, she truly couldn't resist.

Even if Truth Divine Church sent people to turn Felyn to ash, that would be afterward.

Daiyi regretted this.

When deciding, she thought it was simple.

Just sleeping together.

But now it seemed completely impossible.

"Did you meet clients again today?"

"Not today."

"No clients gave you anything?"

"Sorry Miss Daiyi, that's client privacy."

With lights off, Daiyi couldn't read anything from Felyn's expression.

She planned to chat a bit more for psychological preparation, then kiss Felyn.

"Have you ever fallen for clients?"

"Yes."

Daiyi turned toward the vague figure in darkness.

"I fell for Miss Daiyi. First time seeing someone so perfect—just like a deity."

"You know that's not what I mean."

"But that's my honest thought."

"Even if I wear a maid outfit, you won't tell?"

Felyn's voice in darkness was silent for five seconds.

"My answer remains Miss Daiyi."

Five seconds of silence was respect for maids.

Daiyi buried her head under the blanket.

She couldn't quite read Felyn.

"Ding dong~~"

The doorbell downstairs rang somewhat piercingly, startling Daiyi.

"Someone's coming at this hour." Felyn struggled up from the mattress.

"Maybe your clients found you."

"That would be terrible."

Felyn said casually, not taking it seriously.

Besides Daiyi, who else knew his address?

"If it's your client, I'll eavesdrop upstairs without going down. How's that—am I the perfect girlfriend in men's hearts?"

"No, some men would want you to come down and watch you fight jealousy with that person."

Felyn quietly closed the door, watching Daiyi still gripping the bedsheet through the shrinking gap.

He quickly went downstairs to the entrance.

Remaining sunset still reluctantly clung to today's world, window shadows slanting across the floor.

Who could be looking for him at this hour?

The door handle turned.

He saw two familiar figures.

"Viloti? And Teacher Sofia?! How did you come here?"

Felyn wanted to stop them at the door, but Sofia slipped inside the moment it opened.

"Pardon the intrusion!"

Then don't barge into people's homes!

Viloti stood at the door, hesitating whether to enter.

But thinking of Adeline, her legs involuntarily walked inside.

Felyn scratched his head. Great.

"Teacher Sofia, you came for that study group, right?" Felyn shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Lower your voice—I'm not deaf!" Sofia was startled, thinking Felyn was ecstatically screaming from seeing Viloti.

Felyn glanced at the stairs. The person upstairs should hear now, right?

"First time having a teacher home—I'm a bit nervous." Felyn laughed foolishly twice, going to make tea for both visitors.

Viloti and Sofia sat at the dining table as final sunset spilled across the wooden surface.

Viloti's white dress looked especially gentle in sunset as she nervously placed hands on her knees, not daring to look up.

Water in the kettle gradually boiled, tea fragrance permeating the kitchen.

"I came without notice this time—blame me if you must." Sofia removed her glasses fogged by the black tea Felyn handed her and wiped them.

"How could I? Teacher Sofia is only helping me get that school subsidy—no bad intentions, right?"

Sofia's lips twitched, sensing hidden meaning in his words.

"Viloti heard about your situation and volunteered to help. She has no other intentions—just wants you to pass this exam. Look, what a good girl."

Felyn remained silent, just drinking tea.

He felt this couldn't continue.

Viloti still didn't dare look up.

Today she'd specially changed into a white dress with lace trim, paired with white stockings and small leather shoes—looking extremely cute.

Sofia pretended to take out her communication seal.

"Hello, what, my ex-husband died? Good good good, I'll come back immediately."

Sofia hurriedly stood, smiling at the two in sunset.

"I'll be back soon—about five or six hours. While I'm gone, you two mustn't do anything strange."

Sofia quickly walked outside, breathing a long sigh of relief.

Now to prepare for the wedding celebration.

Would Silafiel give her compensation for her efforts?

Sofia planned to wander nearby until around midnight before returning for Viloti.

Several blocks away, Adeline and Silafiel were also heading toward Felyn's place.

...

Viloti sat alone on the sofa, body trembling slightly.

Everywhere held traces of Felyn—he welcomed each sunrise and sunset here, spent every night belonging to him here.

He would rest on this sofa, eat at that table, stand on the balcony daydreaming while watching scenery.

Viloti fantasized about Felyn's ordinary daily life here, making her heart race involuntarily.

If only she could become part of this routine.

Viloti had planned many things, but being here, she didn't know what to do.

She secretly glanced at Felyn—his expression was somewhat serious, as if thinking about something.

Should she try saying something first?

But Viloti couldn't speak at all. She could only tightly hug the sofa cushion, not daring to move.

Tea fragrance still floated in the air, carrying indescribable oppression.

Felyn came from the dining room to the living room, sitting beside Viloti, his gaze openly watching her.

Viloti didn't dare meet Felyn's eyes but could feel his stare.

This wouldn't work. She'd decided to get closer to Felyn, wanting him to care more about her.

Viloti took several deep breaths. The girl mustered all her courage and finally spoke:

"Felyn..."

But before finishing, Felyn's voice interrupted her.

A tone Viloti had never heard before—completely unfamiliar.

"Viloti, sorry, but my home really isn't convenient for tutoring. Could you please leave?"

Viloti felt her heart being viciously wrenched.
