Chapter 55

Felyn felt his current situation was very dangerous.

His consciousness gradually awakened, but his body couldn't move at all.

Moist air filled the surroundings as Felyn felt dizzy and disoriented.

Moreover, he had actually started seeing flashbacks in his mind.

Viloti, Adeline, Daiyi, and those songstresses, dragon girls, princesses, witches—their images kept appearing in his thoughts.

Most terrifyingly, they all seemed to have married him.

Just thinking about opening his eyes every day to face these problematic girls, Felyn was immediately startled awake.

He gasped heavily, clutching his chest as he sat up.

Crystal light pierced through thin mist, weaving together into hazy curtains of light in the air.

A stream meandered from distant moss-covered cliffs, creating scattered ripples.

Did dungeons actually have such scenery?

"You're lucky—you were transported together with me." Bernice's emotionless voice came from behind.

Felyn turned back to find her standing on a boulder.

Completely unlike his disheveled state, Bernice looked as if nothing had happened.

"What's the current situation?"

"Hubert is a spatial demon. After my divine arts attacked him, he released his origin magic—randomly teleporting people to various places in the dungeon."

"Sounds pretty useless."

"You're wrong. His origin magic lasts four hours. As long as he doesn't die, we'll keep getting randomly teleported. Next time you might be alone. And he'll randomly appear beside each person—if you're isolated, he'll kill you."

"Then I'm finished."

Felyn raised his hands in surrender.

He was the weakest here—who else would the demon kill if not him?

"This isn't even the dungeon's depths, so why is there a high-order magical beast like a demon?"

Bernice fell silent.

From entering the dungeon, she had detected two forces nearby with numerous, powerful members.

She roughly knew the reason.

The people sent by the three young ladies—Viloti, Adeline, and Daiyi—were strong enough to awaken a demon.

Couldn't really say anyone was wrong, since the three didn't know about each other.

And now wasn't the time to discuss right and wrong. Felyn might really be targeted by the demon.

"Any last words?"

Bernice came to Felyn's side, crouching by his face.

"Time for last words already? Won't you struggle a bit?" Felyn still leaned against the rock, his body unable to handle the recent origin magic.

"Of course there's no problem with you staying with me. Killing that demon to stop the magic is also no problem. But if neither happens, you'll have problems."

"Then I guess I should leave last words."

Felyn looked at the masked girl. That matter—it would be fine to say it now, right?

"I have something I really want to say."

"Speak."

"Bernice, you look very cute without breast pads."

?!

The originally cold eyes behind the mask instantly widened, nearly dropping the seal gun.

Bernice's body froze violently, as if struck by lightning.

Her ear tips visibly reddened, spreading all the way to her neck.

"You... you..."

Her voice became shrill, the previous mechanical tone completely gone.

Even her armor made subtle sounds from her trembling.

"You pervert!"

Felyn enjoyed this title, feeling like he stood on a cliff with arms spread, feeling fierce mountain winds.

He had just spoken his thoughts.

"When did you find out?"

"My identity? Or the breast pads?"

"My identity, of course! And please stop mentioning breast pads."

She slowly removed her mask, revealing that familiar face. Her black-and-red highlighted short hair was slightly disheveled, eyes still containing embarrassed anger.

She pursed her lips, trying to maintain a last trace of dignity.

"I knew when we registered as a team."

"Why? I thought my acting wasn't bad."

"Your perfume scent—you use 'Silver Moon Dew.'" Felyn smiled. "That metallic-crisp fragrance is rare in Seiwa. Plus this perfume is exclusively for divine churches—ordinary people can't buy it."

Bernice was stunned, not expecting exposure through such small details.

"You actually remember my scent—definitely a pervert."

Had he always been paying attention to her?

This thought suddenly flashed through her mind, making her heartbeat skip.

Bernice rarely interacted with men and had no friends, spending most time training and fighting.

Therefore, such attention from the opposite sex was very unfamiliar to her.

To seduce Felyn, she had experienced normal girl life for the first time.

Shopping with Felyn, cooking for Felyn, attending his school.

Worrying about studies at school, occasionally chatting with the beloved boy, discussing romantic troubles with friends.

So this was ordinary girl life.

Bernice had to admit she really enjoyed this fake academy time.

She glanced sideways at Felyn, about to say something when she felt magical fluctuations in her body.

"Felyn, I think I'm about to be teleported away."

Felyn saw Bernice's body already covered by large patches of deep blue magic.

"If you're going to die, I'll kill him for you."

"Never considered I might counter-kill him?"

Completely covered by magic, Bernice finally showed a trace of smile.

Then her figure gradually dispersed in blue light, as if melting into the air.

Silence returned to the surroundings.

Felyn clutched his chest and slowly stood up, feeling much better now.

Small blue flowers bloomed sporadically by the stream, gently swaying with the water vapor.

Distant mountains looked like scrolls caressed by gods.

According to normal settings, some hidden master should appear here, possibly with forbidden books.

Maybe this was his training ground with springs that could completely restore him, letting him hunt monsters and level up without restraint.

When he emerged, he'd already be world number one.

Just as Felyn immersed himself in fantasy, the space before him showed tearing marks again.

Was it that demon?

Felyn held his breath, staring intently at the space.

A pink figure tumbled out from the crack.

It was Viloti.

Her body began falling from the air.

Felyn gritted his teeth and forced his body up, ignoring the pain throughout his body as he rushed forward.

"Careful!"

He spread his arms and steadily caught the falling Viloti.

Viloti fell into his embrace, her soft body still trembling slightly.

Her long hair scattered across Felyn's shoulders, carrying faint fragrance.

"Felyn..."

Viloti looked up, amber eyes still showing panic, but the moment she saw Felyn, her gaze immediately softened.

The two were close enough to hear each other's heartbeats as Viloti's cheeks gradually flushed.

"Are you alright?"

Viloti curled up in Felyn's arms, burying her head in his chest.

Her fingers gripped Felyn's clothes tightly, as if afraid he might suddenly disappear.

But Felyn still gently set Viloti down and stepped back, creating distance between them.

Viloti sat dazedly on the ground, seemingly still savoring Felyn's recent warmth.

The two fell into silence again.

"Anywhere uncomfortable?"

Viloti shook her head, her gaze still fixed on Felyn's chest.

She wanted... once more...
