“What happened to her? Did you drug her?!”
Felyn looked at Adeline slumped over the table, completely motionless, and instantly thought Mirian had done something.
“Lord Felyn, you can’t go saying things like that!” Mirian quickly objected. “Who would dare drug the young lady of the Claude family? No matter how much of a freak someone is, even they wouldn’t dare do that.
Lady Adeline is just drunk. I’ll pretend I didn’t see anything. The private room is soundproof anyway, so if you want to do something, go ahead and do it.”
“Who would?!”
Felyn gently patted Adeline, but got no response at all.
Looked like all of Adeline’s plans for the rest of the night would have to be canceled.
“Adeline, are you okay?”
Adeline let out a few meaningless sounds from her throat, sounding just like a purring kitten.
Her previously fair skin had now turned a deep red, her whole face glowing like it had been bathed in a rose-tinted sunset.
Her eyes were half-open, half-closed, and her lips were redder than usual. The breath she exhaled carried a sweet fragrance of alcohol.
“So hot... Felyn, I want to take off my clothes.”
Adeline pulled down the straps from her shoulder, exposing her alluring collarbone and shoulder.
Felyn reacted quickly and pulled it back up for her.
Off to the side, Mirian began rummaging through her bag.
“Lord Felyn, isn't standing up? I have some medicine that can help.”
“Stop messing around! And why do you even carry that kind of thing with you?”
Felyn had no time to argue. Right now, he was trying to figure out how to get this very drunk young lady home.
Judging from her condition, Adeline was even more out of it than she had been last time at home.
“F-Felyn…”
Adeline clung tightly to Felyn’s hand, her voice practically bubbling with pink love hearts.
“I want to go home and take a bath. My body’s all sticky. It feels gross.”
“Alright, alright, I’ll have the guards take you back right away.”
“No!” Adeline raised her voice, “You can’t let anyone see me like this, it’s too embarrassing…”
In her haze, Adeline vaguely realized that she wasn’t acting right. If anyone found out that the usually elegant Adeline had turned into this mess, she’d never be able to accept it.
Felyn, of course, understood that as well.
That meant he had to take her home himself.
But once they got there, Adeline probably wouldn’t let him off easy either.
Seriously, why drink at all?! He hated drunk, out-of-control noble ladies the most.
The usual noble girls were already troublesome enough—but at least when sober, they had some self-control and wouldn’t go overboard.
But once they got drunk… they didn’t care about anything anymore.
Complete madness!
“Lord Felyn, I can drive you two home. No one will find out.”
“Huh? Sneaking away like that—won’t you get in trouble?” Felyn raised an eyebrow. For once, Mirian wasn’t trying to make things worse.
“No problem at all! And just thinking about dropping you two off and how you’ll be going at it hot and heavy in the room afterward—makes me excited just imagining it. I can do my own thing in the car too!”
“Stop! No need for that much detail! And we’re not going to do anything!”
Felyn didn’t want to have anything to do with this elf-on-the-outside, demon-on-the-inside named Mirian—but in this situation, he really had no choice.
“Can we sneak out the back?”
Seeing Felyn agree, Mirian nodded enthusiastically, and her hand suspiciously drifted between her thighs.
“Hey?! Don’t start getting aroused here—go start the car!”
“Aroused?” Mirian tilted her head, then pulled a wooden seal from her sleeve. “I’m just getting the wooden-seal ignition device. What are you talking about, Lord Felyn?”
Damn it!
She was definitely doing that on purpose!
Felyn stared at the increasingly unhinged smile on Mirian’s face and decided not to bother anymore.
“Come help me lift her.”
“What a shame… Mirian’s hands are both busy right now. Since in Lord Felyn’s eyes, I’m just a lust-crazed elf girl who’s always about to go into heat, my hands have other uses. Why don’t you carry her on your back, Lord Felyn?”
“You’re seriously the worst!”
He had no idea how many times he’d said that tonight.
Felyn gently lifted Adeline and carried her on his back.
Her soft arms wrapped loosely around his shoulders, and her long rose-tea-colored hair fell forward, brushing against Felyn’s chest.
The scent of her perfume was much stronger at this close distance, making Felyn’s heart beat faster.
Using the excuse of taking a shortcut, Mirian led Felyn down a quieter path and a long flight of stairs.
With every step he descended, Adeline’s generous chest bounced against Felyn’s back.
Tonight, Adeline was wearing a Chanel-style dress, and Felyn only had on a thin shirt—so the feeling of that softness reached his brain with no resistance at all.
Behind him, Adeline’s hot breath teased the edge of his ear, and she let out soft little moans as her body swayed.
Who the hell could resist this?!
After a few minutes, Felyn finally managed to get Adeline into the car.
“Lord Felyn, are you going to be able to hold back? How about I step out for a bit so you can take care of it here in the car?”
“Just drive already!”
The car pulled away from Homhot.
Felyn looked back at the swirling lights of Homholt in the distance, feeling like he had finally escaped that place.
Adeline leaned against him, occasionally rubbing her cheek against his face.
“Felyn… no… we have to wait until we’re married…”
She would suddenly say strange things like that, leaving Felyn no choice but to take deep breaths over and over again.
Adeline was becoming even more restless in the car. Her consciousness seemed to teeter between clarity and confusion—sometimes clutching tightly to Felyn’s arm, other times staring out the window at the passing lights, eyes half-lidded.
“Felyn…” she whispered, her voice sticky and sweet like freshly melted honey. “You smell… really nice…”
Her cheeks glowed with an alluring blush from the alcohol. Her gray-blue eyes were misted with a glassy sheen, making them even more seductive.
Her dress had gotten slightly disheveled from moving around in the car, revealing even more of her snowy white skin.
Felyn bit his lip hard, trying his best to clear his mind.
The twenty-minute drive passed quickly.
Felyn helped Adeline out of the car, shooed away Mirian, and finally got the two of them back into Adeline’s villa.
Maybe it was the familiarity of being home, but Adeline’s body started responding more actively.
She suddenly threw herself into Felyn’s arms, her forehead resting against his neck.
“Felyn, help me take a bath.”
Felyn’s mouth twitched. He checked the time—still afternoon.
A guest’s request was an order.
Adeline, nestled in his arms, had long since stopped acting like a person. Carried along by the wine’s effects, she kept rubbing herself against Felyn’s chest.
Felyn had no choice but to lay her on the bed, then went downstairs to fetch a basin of water and a towel, preparing to wipe her down.
“Felyn, do… Do I need to take my clothes off…?”
Adeline seemed a bit more lucid. She forced her gray-blue eyes open, her watery gaze and blushing cheeks making her look even more pitiful.
“No need. I’m just going to wipe you down. You don’t need to take your clothes off.”
Adeline nodded, then reached up and pulled down her own dress strap.
She clearly didn’t understand a thing!
“Felyn, it’s uncomfortable wearing this. Help me take it off.”
