Chapter 14

The two arrived at the dormitory building and got the keys to their respective rooms from the dormitory supervisor.

Shanie's dormitory was downstairs, while Celitia's was upstairs. Since they weren't next to each other, they went their separate ways.

The dormitory building had four floors in total, with Celitia's room on the top floor, leaving her out of breath from climbing.

"Huff huff... how coincidental... it's the top floor..."

Having to climb the stairs every day would be a nightmare.

Walking through the corridor to the last room, Celitia used her key to open the door and was surprised by what she saw inside.

The entire room was filled with various items in disarray, sparing neither desks and chairs nor beds.

It seemed her roommate had already arrived but had left temporarily without organizing her things.

Carefully skirting around the mess on the floor, Celitia went to the inner bed and frowned at the items piled on top.

Making a mess was one thing, but occupying someone else's bed was a bit too much.

But considering the typical extravagance of nobles, Celitia could somewhat understand.

The fact that they hadn't brought several servants to live in the dormitory was already a blessing.

"Never mind... she's my roommate after all, better not strain the relationship."

Celitia muttered to herself helplessly, moving the things from the bed to the side one by one.

Opening the cabinet, Celitia took out the bedding prepared by the academy for new students and made up the bed.

Looking at the freshly made bed, Celitia felt a wave of drowsiness.

Feeling a bit tired... I'll sleep for a while first and organize the rest later.

Taking off her outer clothes, Celitia crawled under the blanket and quickly fell into a deep sleep.

She didn't know how long she had slept when she was awakened by a commotion.

"Stop following me! I've said I want to experience academy life on my own. I'll do what needs to be done myself, no need for your help!"

Someone walked in, shouted a few words toward the door, forcefully closed it, and drew the curtains as well.

So noisy...

Celitia sighed, pulled up the blanket, covering her head, wrapping herself tightly in the blanket like a cocoon.

This roommate, having shouted away the people outside, clanged around in the room for a while, then went into the bathroom.

The splashing sound of water came through, and amid that continuous white noise, Celitia fell asleep once more.

However, not long after, Celitia was awakened again.

The girl had come out of the bathroom at some point and was now humming a disorderly tune, rummaging through the pile of miscellaneous items on the opposite desk.

Unable to bear it any longer, Celitia pulled down the blanket covering her head, peeked out, and politely said:

"Hello, classmate, could you please be a bit quieter?"

As she spoke, Celitia clearly saw the scene before her and paused strangely.

From Celitia's perspective, the girl had her back turned, with fair skin smooth as jade, a slender and well-proportioned figure, and excellent leg-to-body ratio.

Her golden curly hair hung down wet, covering her bare back, stopping abruptly at the waist, revealing round, lustrous buttocks.

Hearing Celitia's voice, the girl froze, turned her body in disbelief to look back, her mouth gradually widening.

From this angle, Celitia could even see beside the girl's slender arms, the perfectly shaped mountains and valleys.

Indeed, this roommate wasn't wearing anything at all.

"Ah-!! Aaaaaaah!!"

The golden-haired girl let out an earth-shattering scream, jumped in place, and bolted back toward the bathroom.

Due to her panic, she tripped over something on the floor and fell flat with a "splat."

Just hearing that loud noise, Celitia felt the pain.

To be honest, Celitia had no desire for any interaction with this free-spirited person.

But seeing the girl had fallen quite hard, she had no choice but to lift the blanket, get out of bed, and try to go over to help her up.

"Ahhh! Don't come near me!!"

Seeing Celitia approaching, the girl became even more panicked, using both hands and feet to get up from the floor.

She whirled into the bathroom like a tornado, slamming the door shut with a "bang."

Celitia stood speechless, considering whether to just go back to bed.

"Who are you? Why are you in my dormitory?!"

The girl in the bathroom was not going to let this go and shouted in distress.

Celitia calmly replied: "Because this is my dormitory too."

"Impossible! I specifically arranged in advance; this is my single dormitory!!"

The girl didn't believe it at all. "If you dare to speak nonsense again, this young lady will sentence you to death!!"

What's with immediately threatening death...

Celitia frowned, suddenly recalling that in that brief glimpse earlier, she had seen the other's face.

No wonder she looked somewhat familiar. If she wasn't mistaken, this girl was indeed quite a significant figure.

Princess of Lansca, Sophia Clarence.

Why had Sophia also come to study?

And how had she and Sophia been arranged in the same dormitory? Was it a mistake?

Recalling that seemingly unreliable curly-haired young man Andrew, Celitia's brow furrowed deeper.

"Due to changes in the number of female students, the academy had to readjust the dormitory arrangements."

Celitia answered calmly, shifting the responsibility to the academy without exposing that unreliable worker.

Even if Andrew had made a mistake, he had good intentions; otherwise, she might not have had a place to stay at all.

Having experienced betrayal, Celitia now treasured even more those acts of pure kindness.

Worried that Sophia would continue to probe, Celitia changed the subject, consoling her:

"Besides, we're both women. Even if I saw you, there's nothing to make a big fuss about."

"No!"

Sophia wasn't soothed at all.

"This young lady's body is not for the likes of a lowborn like you to see! Remember this—I will definitely punish you for this!!"

Hearing Sophia's unreasonable words, Celitia's purple-gray eyes gradually darkened.

"First, I arrived at the dormitory before Your Highness, and it wasn't intentional; secondly, it's just an immature girl's body, do you think I enjoy looking at it?"

Celitia's voice was extremely flat, filled with sarcasm.

"If the Princess is concerned, please dress quickly, and next time, don't wander around the dormitory naked."

After speaking, Celitia walked back to her bed and sat down.

"You—"

Sophia pressed her back tightly against the bathroom door, feeling both embarrassed and angry, her face surrounded by steam, turning redder than a boiled shrimp.

Looking around the bathroom, Sophia's face gradually showed panic.

Accustomed to being served by maids, she had forgotten to bring clean clothes in, which was why she had gone out naked to look for things.

As for the dirty clothes she had taken off, Sophia would never put them on again.

Raising her hand, Sophia forcefully knocked on the bathroom door: "Hey you, come here!"

Celitia sat without moving:

"Your Highness, when asking for help, remember to say 'please'."

Sophia nearly ground her back teeth to powder. After several deep breaths, she finally squeezed out the words one by one:

"Please. Come. Here. For. A. Moment!"
