School Really Is Criminal...
Sixteen-year-old Yinhua had a lifelong habit: whenever the weather turned cold, she liked to wrap herself up alone in a warm quilt and sleep.
In her own words, "I'm sealed by the bed—you can't possibly blame me, can you?"
The current date was December 1st, 4999 of the Holy Era. The city of Shaluoya in the East had officially entered winter.
The cold air from the land of Extreme Winter made the temperature plummet, turning things into Yinhua's absolute nightmare.
This morning was no exception. Even though the alarm clock was already doing its job, Yinhua didn't react at all.
She lay in her "nest" like a pet dog, burying her head deeply into the pillow, rubbing against it forcefully.
But paradise could never last forever.
"Miss, the time for waking up has long passed. If you don't leave for school now, you'll be late."
With a loud bang at the door, the maid entered, responding to her own call, stepping into the room without any manners.
"Good morning."
Having just woken up, Yinhua was not especially alert; she seemed completely unaware of what she should be doing.
"Good morning. Then again, in this world, I suppose only for you, miss, is right now an appropriate time to say 'good morning'."
Yinhua rubbed her eyes and looked at the maid with confusion, as if she had already become used to her maid's poisonous tongue and the "explosively" opened door.
"It's now 9:44 a.m. Not only did you miss the opening ceremony, miss, you didn't even make it to the first class. If people were to get serious, they'd probably think you were attacked on the way, and they're searching everywhere for you as we speak. Ah, it's already 9:45, the second class has started."
"It's not that exaggerated, is it? So I missed school—it's not like I'm about to go to the battlefield. Does it have to be so serious?"
"Of course, you're the princess of the Kingdom of Wanhua. If you really disappeared for a day, it could potentially trigger a war."
Yinhua glanced at the maid and muttered, "It's not like I'm a real princess anyway."
"Well, I've already missed one class, and there's no way I'll make it to the second either. I'll just head over during lunch break. That's settled, good night."
The maid sighed.
"If that's the case, I have no choice but to send you to hell this time. I'll pray for you."
With that said, she yanked Yinhua's quilt away—
"Ahhh, are you a demon?"
Yinhua trembled, hugging her shoulders against the cold.
"This is the only way, my great Miss. If you'd just cooperate with me, I think things would be much easier for both of us."
The maid walked to the window and pulled the curtains open.
The morning sunlight shone on her face, her crystal-clear skin radiant with a frost-like sheen.
Her long, night-black hair flowed behind her, and her delicate face was tinged with a faint blush.
Combined with her stern expression, she could be called a rare beauty. The girl's name was Aili, Yinhua's personal maid and supervisor.
"Too bad her temperament is a bit too odd,"
Yinhua muttered.
"Did you say something, my dear Miss?"
"No, nothing, nothing. Hurry up and hand me some clothes! Or I'll turn into a historical ice sculpture."
Aili tossed the school uniform to our princess. "Hurry and change, then come downstairs. I'll warm your breakfast. If you're quick enough, you might just catch the second class."
"School really is criminal..."
Obediently changing into her uniform, Yinhua slowly made her way down to the main hall.
Aili placed freshly toasted bread and some lettuce on the dining table, with a glass of warm milk beside it.
The food looked quite good, and of course, it tasted no worse than what you'd get at those restaurants outside, though it was just a few simple dishes.
"Please try to finish your meal quickly, as too much time has already been wasted."
"I know, I know. Aili, you're always so tense and serious."
"There's no other way. If I don't cure your terminal laziness, I'd get in trouble too, my dear Miss."
"Don't want to cure it. I'd much rather stay in bed and sleep until the end of time, if I could."
"Ah, I didn't realize it's already this late. I need to hurry to school. Goodbye, aili!"
Knowing her maid was about to start lecturing, Yinhua stuffed a piece of bread in her mouth and darted off.
"My dear Miss, take care on your way."
Aili lightly lifted the hem of her maid's skirt and gave a perfect curtsy, then smiled gently.
Her smile, warm as the winter sun, was intoxicating, especially paired with the fragrance of snow-lotus flowers in the garden.

I'm wondering who the MC is...
The story is probably about the maid, and it is told in the eye of Yinhua...
