The sudden physical examination made Lin Nan somewhat panicked.
But after thinking about it carefully for a moment, Lin Nan realized he could only bite the bullet and go through with the physical exam, since he had absolutely no good reason to refuse it.
The other tests weren't much of a problem, but the main issue was the gender-separated internal medicine examination. The girls usually went in one by one for examination, but the boys went in batches, and he'd probably have to lie on a table while the doctor pressed on his stomach, waist, and other areas.
His chest would definitely be noticed then...
But the school examination shouldn't be able to detect gender issues, right?
Lin Nan packed up his lunch and returned to the dorm with some worry, eating while his mind was full of various anxious emotions.
But I've even worn a swimsuit before, so enduring the shame shouldn't be a problem...
He suddenly felt his phone vibrate. Picking it up, he saw it was from the underclassman who had approached him in the cafeteria.
"Senior, want to team up and play together?"
Although Lin Nan had already deleted all his various social media contacts, the problem was that he had even given out his phone number.
I was really too naive back then. How could I have thought he was a fanboy who admired my gaming skills?
Lin Nan glanced at the text message and couldn't be bothered to respond, simply putting his phone aside and continuing to eat.
That underclassman sent several more text messages in succession, but Lin Nan didn't look at them, instead thinking about the academic advisor.
The advisor too. Couldn't he have said that kind of thing privately? Making him the butt of his classmates' jokes, though their laughter wasn't malicious, it still felt somewhat embarrassing.
That guy was quite handsome, but couldn't he consider the students' psychology and dignity?
He sighed deeply, but then heard knocking at the dorm door, followed by Tu Junhui shouting from outside: "Damn! Who locked the door in broad daylight! Open the door for daddy!"
Lin Nan was startled and turned to look at the culprit, Chen Yao. This guy, whether his brain had short-circuited or what, had locked the door when he returned to the dorm.
It might have even been intentional.
"Hurry up and open the door for daddy!"
Chen Yao had already gotten up and grabbed the door handle to open it, but hearing Tu Junhui's arrogant tone, he simply stood behind the door and righteously asked: "What did you say?"
"Daddies, please open the door for me!" Tu Junhui continued shouting arrogantly.
"Ah, good boy."
As soon as the door opened, Tu Junhui lunged at Chen Yao, but although they were similar in height, their weights weren't in the same league. Chen Yao reacted quickly, dodged the attack with a sidestep, then gave a push, sending Tu Junhui headfirst into the iron bed frame.
"Holy shit! If you have the guts, 1v1 me Yasuo"
Tu Junhui wasn't hurt too badly, covering his forehead as he continued yelling: "Daddy's gonna beat the shit out of you!"
"Stupid idiot!"
The dorm was as noisy as usual. Xiong Da, playing on his phone in bed, sighed in despair and pulled his blanket over his head. Lin Nan ate his meal while watching the show, finding it quite entertaining.
Tu Junhui grumbled as he returned to his spot, but suddenly remembered something and pushed open the back door of the dorm. However, a strong stench suddenly hit him in the face, scaring him pale as he quickly closed the door again.
"What's that terrible smell?" Lin Nan instantly lost his appetite, frowning as he asked.
"How should I know?" Tu Junhui sat down guiltily, trying to change the subject. "Nan Nan, want to duo queue?"
But Lin Nan was quite concerned about the choking stench from the balcony. Chen Yao was farther from the balcony and hadn't smelled it, so he asked curiously: "What smell? Is the balcony very smelly?"
"Go smell it yourself and you'll know." Lin Nan completely lost his appetite, covering his half-eaten meal and setting it aside to eat later when he had an appetite again.
Chen Yao got up with a clueless expression and walked toward the balcony, muttering: "Did someone not flush the toilet this morning?"
Opening the door, the intense foul odor instantly filled his nostrils. He closed the door and backed away in horror: "Holy shit! Why does it stink so bad out there!"
Tu Junhui explained guiltily: "Maybe it's the clothes I'm soaking in the bucket?"
"I knew it was you!" Chen Yao tried to push Tu Junhui toward the balcony, but this guy weighed two hundred pounds and really couldn't be moved.
"Don't be hasty."
"Hurry up and go out there to clean it up!"
Lin Nan also nodded repeatedly with a disgusted expression: "Right, hurry up and get out there to clean it up before coming back in. Otherwise you're sleeping in another dorm tonight. Also, how long did you soak those clothes to get that smell?"
"About, a week? I forgot."
Tu Junhui had planned to continue being difficult, but hearing the threat, he reluctantly walked toward the balcony with an unwilling expression. Just opening and closing that balcony door once made Lin Nan so nauseous that he quickly grabbed his chair and ran to Chen Yao's spot.
This guy, who knows where he gets all these problems from.
A moment later, Tu Junhui walked into the dorm carrying a bucket full of black water. The stench instantly filled the entire room. Lin Nan and Chen Yao turned and ran, and Xiong Da in bed was even more horrified, nearly slipping and falling when getting out of bed, but couldn't care less and followed Lin Nan and the others' footsteps to run to the hallway.
"Tu Junhui! Why the hell didn't you pour the water in the toilet first! Why bring the bucket into the dorm!" Lin Nan shouted into the room in despair.
Forget about eating the leftover food–the entire dorm would probably need to be disinfected.
Chen Yao's face was as black as coal, covering his nose with one hand as he sighed helplessly: "Forget it, I'll go downstairs to buy disinfectant. We'll disinfect before class, and it should be odorless when we come back tonight."
Xiong Da was still wearing pajamas and hadn't even had time to put on shoes, standing barefoot in the hallway looking absolutely miserable.
I was just playing on my phone in bed, reading some novels. How did I get caught up in this?
Tu Junhui handled things quickly inside the room, pouring out the dirty water and putting the clothes that had been soaked in dirty water for who knows how many days into garbage bags, then pinching his nose as he pushed open the dorm door.
"Alright, alright, come in."
"What are you going to do with these clothes?" Lin Nan frowned, keeping his distance with a disgusted expression as he asked. "If you're throwing them in the trash, remember to throw them far away."
"Throw them away? Clothes cost money to buy, okay? I'll just go downstairs to the washing machine and clean them up, won't that work?" He still had that matter-of-fact attitude.
"???"
Chen Yao was full of question marks: "I'm never using the school washing machines again!"
After Tu Junhui left, Lin Nan tried to enter the room, but there was still that smell inside, making him completely unable to stay for long. He grabbed the textbooks needed for afternoon classes and ran, then after thinking for a moment, decided to hang out in the cafeteria until afternoon classes.
To be honest, although he had long known that Tu Junhui paid no attention to details in his daily life and had quite a few problems, who knew this guy could actually soak clothes until they stank, and was even planning to use the public washing machines to solve the subsequent problem.
If it were him, he would have thrown those clothes away long ago, yeah?
