Chapter 174
Transcending All Time: What Could the Story Be?
I knew that the members would find Yoon Cheong no matter what time period she was in.
Considering there’s a second part, this can’t be the end, right?
What could it be?
I’m dying because I can’t even guess the concept of the title track.ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
Steel Blue, please reveal the concept quickly…..
Steel Blue seems to have high-quality color films.
From the visuals alone, you can tell they spent a lot of money.
It feels like they release a color film every time they put out a mini or full album.
I like how they unfold the storyline separately from the teaser or MV in this way.
The best part is that the members made it themselves.
Steel Blue Planning
Directed by Ryu Bo-ra
Wow
Baby Princess, Baby Singer, Baby Director…. Ryu Bo-ra, what are you even…
Expanding from acting to directing is truly growth-oriented.
So the teaser is released today?
Re.lease.it.quick.ly.
Steel Blue’s tracklist is out!!!!!
Transcending All Time
1. Eternal Summer (Title)
2. Summer Solstice
3. Summer Triangle
4. Everywhere Everytime
5. Transcending All Worlds
The title track is named Eternal Summer.
Excited
Excited
The summer concept is really consistent.
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Just looking at the tracklist, you can smell summer..
It’s such a summer anthem… Steel Blue…
Is the second part of the color film titled Transcending All Worlds by any chance?
The first track title and the first part of the color film have the same name: Transcending All Time.
Then maybe…?
Colors, just pretend it was a mistake and release it, I’ll turn a blind eye.
They always make mistakes but never when it counts.
└For real, they only do their job well at times like this.
Ding!
Ding!
Overwhelmed by the barrage of notifications, Blue Duck quickly turned on her phone.
Steel Blue’s teaser was out.
As soon as she saw the notification title, Blue Duck opened OTube without hesitation.
It was finally midnight.
The Colors people are so cruel.

Without further thought, Blue Duck quickly pressed the play button.
Then.
Oh, my daydream
On the longest day
I could take the longest nap
You’ll be in that dream
A cheerful and exhilarating melody flowed out.
“The longest day? Could it be <Summer Solstice>?”
Or is it the title track? Which one?
Blue Duck focused on the video.
The first thing she saw was Yoon Cheong heading to school.
It seemed to be a continuation of the color film that was released just yesterday.
As soon as Yoon Cheong arrived at school, she opened her locker.
Inside were neatly organized textbooks, a letter, and a diary for exchanging letters.
“It’s the Steel Blue exchange diary!”
Does it appear here too?
Blue Duck looked puzzled but happy.
Love Letter to the Student Council President♥
– Steel Blue Planning (스틸블루 기획)
– Directed by Ryu Bo-ra (류보라 연출)
– Love Letter to the Student Council President♥ (학생회장님께 보내는 러브 레터♥)
As the letter was shown in close-up, the writing on it became visible.
“Is Cheong the student council president here?! No, wait. Did you say a love letter?!”
Yoon Cheong opened the letter with a familiar, indifferent expression.
A love letter? Surely you didn’t believe that, did you? This is a letter giving you a clue to a treasure. If you read this letter and find me, you will recover something very precious and valuable.
But the letter wasn’t a love letter.
Puzzled by its content, Yoon Cheong furrowed her brows slightly.
I will give you a clue.
I am in this school.
I am always by your side.
I am someone very precious to you.
As soon as Yoon Cheong finished reading the letter, she sighed and put it in her pocket.
Then she took the exchange diary.
On the cover of the exchange diary were the names:
Seo Baek-young
Yoon Cheong
Kim Geum
Ryu Bo-ra
Yeon Juhong
Along with another name that was too blurred to read clearly.
Yoon Cheong took the exchange diary and walked out of the main building.
It seemed she was heading toward the gymnasium.
When Yoon Cheong entered the gymnasium building, she saw a group of people wearing black uniforms.
“The kendo club…!”
Was there a member among them in the kendo club?
Blue Duck was eagerly speculating.
It seemed they were in the middle of practice, as everyone was swinging their bamboo swords with great effort.
Yoon Cheong approached someone who was watching the practice from the front.
It was probably the kendo captain.
“Who is it?”
The person was wearing a kendo helmet, so their face wasn’t visible.
[Yoon Cheong!]
Yoon Cheong thrust the letter in front of the person’s face, giving them a silent, accusing look.
The person shook their hand dismissively and lifted the helmet.
It was Seo Baek-young.
[It’s not me!]
Seo Baek-young insisted she wasn’t the one, with a frustrated expression.
Yoon Cheong gave Seo Baek-young a fleeting glance before turning on her heel.
Seo Baek-young, looking flustered, scratched her head.
The scene shifted.
Next, Kim Geum was shown in a school uniform, surrounded by volleyball team members.
Kim Geum seemed to be at the center of attention, saying something playful in the middle of the group.
Everyone laughed whenever Kim Geum spoke.
Yoon Cheong pushed through the crowd and handed the letter to Kim Geum.
Kim Geum squinted at the letter and then shrugged.
[A challenge letter? It’s not me.]
At that moment, a volleyball flew towards Yoon Cheong.
[Watch out.]
Kim Geum hit the ball away.
Yoon Cheong seemed slightly startled but quickly erased her surprised expression and turned her head.
She looked as if it didn’t matter as long as it wasn’t them.
As Yoon Cheong walked away nonchalantly, Kim Geum chuckled in bewilderment.
Next, it was a classroom.
Yoon Cheong peeked inside through a slightly open door.
In front of a window bathed in sunlight, Ryu Bo-ra stood, holding a stack of papers and watching people rehearse.
It seemed like this was the drama club.
“So Bo-ra is the drama club president…! It suits her.”
Blue Duck nodded unconsciously.
Ryu Bo-ra’s unique eyes, drawn with thin lines, were focused on the drama club members.
Her slightly furrowed brows gave her an intense look.
With a cold expression, Ryu Bo-ra calmly directed each member.
But the members seemed very bashful whenever Ryu Bo-ra spoke.
“It’s almost like she’s attacking them with her face.”
Just as Blue Duck was thinking this, Yoon Cheong opened the door and approached Ryu Bo-ra, handing her the letter.
Ryu Bo-ra’s eyebrows twitched momentarily.
Without showing any emotion, Ryu Bo-ra took the letter and read it.
Then, she chuckled.
“Do you really think I would play such a childish prank?”
Ryu Bo-ra handed the letter back to Yoon Cheong.
“Instead of looking for something like this, why don’t you join our drama club?”
Ryu Bo-ra scoffed dismissively.
Yoon Cheong pouted, turned her head abruptly, and left the classroom for her next destination.
“The broadcasting room!”
Inside the broadcasting room.
Yeon Juhong, sitting at a desk and brightly reading a script into the camera, was visible, perhaps in her role as an announcer.
Yeon Juhong was reading the script with her characteristic bright and radiant face.
Yoon Cheong watched Yeon Juhong until the filming ended.
As soon as the cut sign was given, she barged into the broadcasting room.
“Sunbae!”
Yeon Juhong, who seemed to really like Yoon Cheong, greeted her with a very happy face.
Momentarily taken aback by her enthusiasm, Yoon Cheong looked much calmer than before.
Yoon Cheong handed the letter to Yeon Juhong.
Yeon Juhong, puzzled, read the letter.
“What?! It’s not me!”
Yeon Juhong jumped and vehemently denied being the one.
Somewhat convinced by her reaction, Yoon Cheong sighed deeply.
She then patted Yeon Juhong’s head and turned away.
“Sunbae! Let’s go to the snack bar together!”
Yeon Juhong called out to her earnestly once more, but Yoon Cheong just waved her hand without looking back.
“I haven’t uncovered the culprit.”
Blue Duck also tried to deduce along with Yoon Cheong but found no one who seemed to be the culprit.
Yoon Cheong returned to the classroom, placing the letter on the desk and thinking deeply.
Then she opened the June page of the exchange diary.
The diary was filled with different handwriting.
Yoon Cheong compared each handwriting in the diary with the one in the letter.
“Who could have played such a prank?”
Yoon Cheong’s narration echoed.
Her eyes showed deep contemplation.
The handwriting in the letter looked similar to everyone’s and yet different at the same time.
It was a difficult problem.
Yoon Cheong sighed and put the letter and the exchange diary back in the locker.
The moment she closed the locker and turned around, a blue light started to seep out from it.
The light began to envelop Yoon Cheong.
As the light completely engulfed her, the screen went black.
When she opened her eyes again—
“It’s winter.”
Snow was falling heavily.
She was on a bed.
“Another dream of that time.”
Yoon Cheong placed her hand on her forehead and sighed deeply.
“A season I can never return to.”
“Whenever it’s winter, I dream of a time I can’t go back to.”
Yoon Cheong sat up and moved to her desk.
On the desk was a much-worn exchange diary.
With a nostalgic look, Yoon Cheong ran her fingers over the diary.
“What is everyone doing?”
“Am I the only one having these dreams?”
The melancholic narration continued.
The alarm clock on her phone rang.
At that moment, the screen split in two.
On one side—
Winter Yoon Cheong, looking accustomed, put on her shirt and stepped out of the house.
And, on the other side—
Summer Yoon Cheong, with a bright face, put on her school uniform and stepped out of the house.
As her foot crossed the threshold,
Give me an endless summer
Promise that our blue season
Will never end
A part of the title song played.
The teaser ended.
