“Sister Xiaoyun?”
Hearing the soft murmur, Qin Xue didn’t get out of bed. Still groggy, she returned to the spot beside the small figure lying there.
The room was dark, the curtains were drawn, and no moonlight seeped in. She couldn’t see anything clearly.
But that soft little voice—she could never mistake it. It was etched into her soul.
Qin Xue reached out her hand, fumbling around the girl’s body.
“Ugh…”
Soft. A little cool to the touch. It didn’t quite feel human.
Eventually, her hand landed on a smooth cheek, and she gave it a light pinch.
“Ow—ugh… hurts…”
Still deep in sleep, Su Yun was stirred awake by the pinch, whimpered, and then fell right back asleep.
She had run such a long distance that afternoon in one go, staying alert the entire time to avoid hitting anything. Paired with the panic she’d felt back then, her physical and mental energy were completely drained. She was exhausted.
“Mhm~?”
That soft, adorable sound again. Qin Xue let out a pleased hum.
She was now a hundred percent certain.
The little creature next to her was indeed Sister Xiaoyun.
Though she didn’t know why the girl was suddenly being so bold.
And then, a thought flashed through Qin Xue’s mind—one that made her heart skip in surprise.
Maybe Sister Xiaoyun actually likes me, but she’s just too shy to admit it. That’s why, when I’m asleep, she secretly does… things?
With that idea in her head, Qin Xue immediately checked her own clothes.
Only to find that not a single piece was missing.
She looked visibly disappointed.
Unsatisfied, she pinched Su Yun’s cheek again.
“Ugh… hurts… stop…”
Each pinch drew another soft whimper from the girl on the bed.
Innocent, yet tinged with something a little naughty.
A sound that felt holy and off-limits—yet every time she heard it, Qin Xue felt a strange heat welling up inside her, an urge she could barely suppress.
She’d originally just wanted to hear more of those adorable sounds.
But no matter how many times she pinched, or how hard, Su Yun no longer reacted.
As if… she was awake now.
Qin Xue was confused. She leaned in to check—and immediately found herself staring into a pair of soft, rosy-red eyes.
“Ah!?”
The sudden flash of red light startled her so badly she tumbled backward and fell onto the bed, thinking for a second that she was staring into some kind of monster.
But then she remembered—Sister Xiaoyun’s eyes were red.
It was just that she usually wore colored contacts during the day, and at night, Qin Xue had never actually looked at her after the lights were off.
“Sister Xue… what’s wrong?”
Seeing her startled like that, Su Yun—even though she was still very sleepy—quickly sat up.
This time, with that cute “monster” drawing near again, Qin Xue wasn’t afraid.
On the contrary… she was hoping she’d get even closer.
“Sister Xue—mmph, what are you doing…”
Just as Su Yun crawled over, Qin Xue suddenly pounced and wrapped her arms around her, pinning her down like she was under attack.
“Sister Xiaoyun~ hug~”
Qin Xue rubbed against Su Yun’s soft little body and pressed herself tightly on top of her.
“Ugh…”
Feeling the soft weight on her face, Su Yun didn’t even bother trying to move.
If this were the wild, she’d be the helpless prey, pinned down and about to be eaten.
She was still half-asleep. Breathing in that sweet, milky scent pressed against her nose, she felt like she might drift off again at any second.
“Sister Xiaoyun, it’s really late… Do you want to get up and have dinner?”
Still clinging to the petite body, Qin Xue looked up at the curtain-covered window.
She couldn’t see outside, but from the looks of it, she could tell it was already pretty late.
If they didn’t get up now, they’d sleep straight through to tomorrow.
Not that she’d mind sleeping like this, wrapped around Sister Xiaoyun all night…
“Sister Xiaoyun, come on. Let’s eat first. We can sleep after.”
She gently shook the girl’s shoulder, but Su Yun stayed perfectly still.
Like a little kitten that had… died (meow).
Qin Xue frowned. This wasn’t going to work.
She sat up again and reached for Su Yun’s face—
And pressed her own face firmly against it.
“!”
“Wuh—!”
That did the trick. The previously lifeless kitten suddenly came back to life, flailing and kicking on the bed in protest.
Only then did Qin Xue slowly back off.
“Wuu… huff… Sister Xue, don’t mess with me while I’m sleeping…”
Su Yun finally sat up, gasping for air.
It wasn’t that she was afraid of suffocating—it was that once she realized what had happened, she immediately wanted to bury her face in a pillow from embarrassment.
“Okay, okay, I’m sorry, Sister Xiaoyun. But it’s dinner time now.”
Qin Xue, with a completely innocent expression, took off her clothes and sat down in front of Su Yun.
The lights were off—but her eyes were red, right? So she should be able to see in the dark.
The idea of being touched in the dark by something with night vision made Qin Xue shiver with excitement.
Also… right now, in front of her—
“Ugh… dinner?”
Su Yun had just barely woken up and didn’t quite register what was going on.
But when she saw what Qin Xue was doing—her face turned beet red.
“S-Sister Xue… even though the lights are off, I can still see, okay? Don’t do that…”
Su Yun’s voice was trembling, as if she’d been thoroughly spooked.
“Oh? So you can see. I don’t mind.”
Qin Xue replied calmly, then suddenly moved behind her and hugged her from behind.
The sweet scent of the girl’s skin wrapped around Su Yun, making her body warm up unexpectedly.
...
Qin Xue’s boldness wasn’t new to Su Yun.
Is this… what girls are like with each other?
But she was a “boy,” wasn’t she? She couldn’t accept something like this.
Not unless the person was her wife.
Otherwise, she didn’t want to take advantage of anyone…
“Sister Xiaoyun~ come on~ eat~ me~”
Qin Xue leaned in close and whispered seductively, her warm breath brushing against Su Yun’s ear.
“No…”
“Meow~ Meow~!”
“Waaa—ahhhhhhh!”
Even though Su Yun’s outward reaction was kind of flat, her mind was already exploding.
That softness pressed against her back—what even was that?
Sister Xue…
“If you don’t eat, I’m ignoring you. You keep fainting all of a sudden. It scares me, okay? Come on!”
Qin Xue saw Su Yun still hadn’t moved and grew anxious.
She put on a pout and forcibly turned Su Yun around, pulling her into her arms.
“Come on—bite!”
“Eh…? But Sister Xue, aren’t you still feeling weak? I’ll do it tomorrow, okay?”
Though her body was warm and dizzy with heat, Su Yun’s reason held strong.
She still remembered how weak Qin Xue had looked yesterday after she “bit” her.
